$2 For An Hour at Open Bar At Billy Hurricanes

Awesome deal alert! Have you seen the awesome booze deals being offered at Thrilist Rewards? For example, you can get $2 of open bar for 60 minutes at Billy Hurricane’s. For $20 people. Yes, that’s two dollars a person, which is less than it costs for a ride on the subway. The $40 deal gets you an hour of domestic draft beers, well liquor and house wines. To top that of, if it’s your birthday that you’re celebrating, they’ll give you both a scorpion bowl full liquid cake. Yes, the boozy kind. Tequileria Maya Opens on UES, Launches Happy Hour

New bar alert! Richard Sandoval recently closed his UES Mexican flagship Maya for a makeover. There is an exciting bonus for drinkers, as the reboot also includes Tequileria Maya, a new bar centered around the agave-based spirit right next door. Well, the watering hole (and the restaurant proper) is now open, pouring 100 agave spirits and 15 house-infused tequilas. If you need some convincing to stop by, how about a drink deal? The eatery will be running a happy hour every day from 5 to 7 PM where you can get hooked up with $6 margaritas and $4 beers. Yes, please.

Happy Hour Alert: Start Your Weekend at Maya

It's...almost...warm... Can March just go out like a lamb already and bring us rooftop bar season (our favorite reason to live in NYC). Well, we're not quite there yet, but we're certainly still planning to get our drink on once the 5 PM whistle blows (OK, who are we kidding - we're sneaking out at 3, but you get it). We think we'll hit some margaritas to help us feel a spring vibe - luck has it that Mexican restaurant Maya is offering some pretty sweet drink deals this very evening (and every night from 5 to 8 PM for that matter).

We think we'll start with a few of the $6 margaritas, and then move on to a $4 Mexican beer (and by "a" we mean at least four). The Richard Sandoval restaurant also dishes out some cheapy bar bites, so you can soak up that hooch with $3 tacos or torta sliders. It may still be a little too chilly to walk outside without a jacket, but after you knock back a few of these boozy offerings, you can at least leave it unzipped as you leave.

Oyster (and Drink Deal) Mania at Millesime!

Millesime, located in the Carlton Hotel, is one of those restaurants that we're always looking for a reason to hit, but never seem to actually end up drinking there. Well, we're pleased to see that the classy haunt is giving us a reason to get our butts into the seats this final week of March. The French seafood brasserie is running an after-work happy hour dubbed Oyster Mania, which runs through the end of March. Need a great way to ring in the Spring? The restaurant will offer the following:

-Oysters at the restaurant’s Oyster Bar for only $1 each -Specialty cocktails for $10 instead of $12

-Beers for $6 instead of $8 and above

-Wine for $8 instead of $10 and above

That's all pretty sweet, and basically takes away any excuse you have not to head over. You can score the specials from 5:30 to 8:00 PM! Millesime is located at 92 Madison Ave. 

Wine Week Will Get You Drunk at Lunch

Kids – did you know that you’re in the middle of Wine Week? Yep – at the Fourth Wall Restaurants, you can score 10 wines for $10 a glass during lunch. The deal lasts until Friday, and you know no one is going to notice if you sneak away for a little out-of-office nibble. OK, they probably will notice if you come stumbling back at 3 PM and drop your stapler as you rave about the “cheap and healthy” meal you just had – so you should be sure to keep it together if you’re going to indulge. The restaurants participating include winners like The Hurricane Club, Quality Meats (pictured) and Smith & Wollensky, so you know you’re in for some good grub along with that vino. Brooklyn's Hill Cafe Launches Burger And A Beer Deal

We don't get out to Brooklyn as much as we should, but if there is one thing that encourages us to get our butts to the borough it's the deals - there is mucho to offer in the wallet friendly department, that's for sure. If we were to head out there on a Tuesday night, we'd drop by Hill Cafe to check out their burger and a beer deal, which is gearing up to launch on Tuesday, March 6. The promotion will run from 6 to 8 PM and you'll be able to scarf the patty and kick back a brewski for only $15. Which should leave you enough money leftover for, well, another beer.

Free Drink Samples at Virgil's? Yes, Please.

Here’s an idea: bars should give out free samples of their drinks! They are always handing out little paper cups full of cardboard-like ice cream outside of Tasti D-Lite, so why can’t they do the same at bars? Well, at least one watering hole is experimenting with this approach. This Monday, we hear that Virgil’s in Midtown was doling out samples of a new cocktail dubbed The Love Bug from 4 to 7 PM, and it turns out that they are going to dish out little sips again on Monday the 27^th. On that day, the Midtown ‘cue will dish out two cocktails made with Absolut Wild Tea, a label the spirit brand recently rolled out. The libations featured will be the Absolut Peach Tea and the Absolut Raspberry Tea. Just like Snapple, you should sip both of them and decide which one you like the best. Yeah, it might require a few tastes to make an accurate decision – we’re not going to judge you.

Happy Hour Alert! GO Burger Launches Drink Deals

Good news kids, there’s a new happy hour in town starting today, and you can use the money you save for some kick ass burgers. GO Burger just announced a happy hour that will run TWICE every Monday through Friday. From 4 to 7 PM, you can enjoy $15 pitchers of beer along with cheap as hell bar bites – including $2 mac and cheese fritters and $2 sliders. You can also order heaping portions of wings for a teeny bit of money - $5 will get you 10 wings, $10 will get you 20 and $15 will get you 30 (if you can eat 30 by yourself, we salute you). If you can’t get to the UES to enjoy the deal right after work, you can swing by from 9:30 to 11:30 PM to enjoy the same prices. Sounds pretty good to us – especially if you go in the evening, do a little bar hopping, and then come back at 9:30 for a late night snack.

508 GastroBrewery Launches Awesome Dinner Deal

Two words that will get our butts into the seats of pretty much any restaurant: unlimited beer. Well, 508 GastroBrewery in the West Village has put together a pretty awesome dinner deal that includes all the brew you can drink. The restaurant has launched a new beer-pairing menu on Sunday and Monday nights, which will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The deal will hook you up with three courses of fare like slow-roasted goat sliders or a wild boar smoked sausage flatbread, and the dishes will be paired with house made brews like a Brazil Nut Brown Ale or a 508 Belgian Wit.

The all-you-can-drink supper will only set you back $39 per person – which is not too shabby considering you spend that much on beer pretty much every night. If you want to check it out, the eatery is at 508 Greenwich Street at Spring.

Happy Hour Alert: Prima Launches 2 for 1 Cocktails

When you’re trolling through the East Village and the LES, happy hours are a dime a dozen. But, those are usually of the $3 water beers variety. That’s why we’re excited to learn that Prima, a new Italian coffee shop and restaurant that just launched on First Street, is offering a primo happy hour deal. Patrons can get two for one drinks – and these libations are serious. Greg Seider, who cut his chops pouring really tasty drinks over at Summit Bar, is behind the list here. You’ll be able to score drinks like the tasty Shazuma Sour, a mix of Barsol Pisco, Agave, Fresh Lime, Yuzu-Kaffir Tincture and Egg White. That’s usually $11, which is in itself a pretty good deal, but two for one makes it even prettier.

If you need something to soak up those drinks, you can also score some two for one oysters. The deal is from 5 to 7 PM daily. Yes, please.
