Stone Rose in the Time Warner Center is an after-work institution for neighborhood drinkers, but now there’s an excuse to sneak away from the office and stop by early. The lounge launched lunch service the other day, and will be serving a menu from chef Marc Murphy’s catering company Benchmarc Events (he also runs Landmarc Restaurant, which is located a floor down in the Time Warner Center).
Dishes like curried tuna tacos and a tasty orecchiette with sausage and spinach will be served from noon to 4 PM during the week and from 1 to 5 PM on the weekends. Of course cocktails will be available, and we expect you to do your duty and have a few. Seasonal drinks include a candy corn martini or a drink dubbed the Jack-o-lantern, which is whiskey muddled with orange and mint.
The Stone Rose is on the fourth floor of the Time Warner Center at 10 Columbus Circle.
