Sip Scotch at the Morgan Library

The Morgan Library is one of the grander spaces in the Big Apple, and we always feel like we need a Scotch to sip while we’re taking in all that old-school New York style. Well, how about that – the library is having a sweet Scotch tasting on November 2. The brand ambassador from Scotch maker Gordon & MacPhail will be in the house to showcase six of their single malts. Labels like Old Pulteney 21 Year will be poured – though it’s not quite as old as the library it is still pretty sweet. The event goes from 6 to 8 PM and the drams will be paired with charcuterie, nuts and cheese. Tickets are $90, but if you reserve by October 26 you can score them for $80 (use the extra money for a drink after – right?).
