Single serve wine is nothing new, but we always feel like a lush with those little mini-bottles because we can down them WAY too quickly. One company is trying to change the presentation of individually packed wine by doing something pretty handy - eliminating the need for glasses and a bottle opener.. Stacked come pre-packed as individual glasses of wine - four individually wrapped glasses are the equivalent of one bottle. Right now, varietals include Merlot, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay - and a pack of four costs $14.99 a bottle.
This is all great, but let's be honest, the product kind of looks weird. Even so, we're guessing any deep thoughts of appearances will go out the window as soon as yo take a sip or two. What is wine good for, anyway? This also may be a strategy to keep your at-home lushness to a minimum. It's pretty easy to drink a whole bottle once you pop it, but if you have to tear open each glass, maybe you'll pause and get yourself under control!
