A few weeks back the White House released the recipe for the special-label beer that is brewed on site (and Obama got our vote). But the novice looked at the ingredients and said "whaaaa???" Making beer isn't hard, but you can't really just go by malt at your local grocery store (unless you live somewhere really, really cool). Well, a few companies have released kits that the at-home brewer can use to whip up a batch of presidential beer. Check out Northern Brewer's White House Honey Ale kit - for $39.75, a box with all the ingredients and easy to follow instructions will be shipped to your door, and you'll be enjoying the notes of toffee and caramel faster than you can say "Hillary 2016."
Now, it won't be exactly like Obama's brew, since they use honey made by bees that are kept on the White House property. You could try procuring some of that, but we're thinking that the secret service wouldn't be too pleased. Get the home brew kit here.
