Brew hounds should get excited about this one. Each year, there's a beer festival held in Long Island, but the International Great Beer expo hasn't been enough to lure is out there since it was so hard to reach. Well, the organizers just announced that this year the sudsy fest is set to take over Belmont Racetrack, which anyone who goes out to booze for the Triple Crown knows is just a quick train ride away.
Over 50 beer makers will be on hand to dish out samples of their product, there are over 100 labels on hand to work your way through. International purveyors will represent, along with a slew of American makers who will pour during two sessions on November 10. The first is from 12:30 to 4 PM, and the second goes off from 5:30 to 9 PM. Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the door.
