We love a good happy hour special, and we especially love when the deal is on a burger & a beer. This way we get to have diner and precious, precious alcohol - how awesome is that? The Orchard House on the Lower East Side just launched a pretty sweet version of this promotion - starting on Monday, they'll serve up juicy patties paired with brew from 5 to 7 PM. The best part is that you can order any of the beer labels on the menu - they're not forcing you to choose the cheap shite like some other haunts around town. The whole thing is only $9, and is available on Monday through Friday.
The Orchard house has become a popular place to grab a few drinks while you're waiting for a table at Mission Chinese, which is a few doors down. Sweet - you can have your first dinner here and when you finally get called three hours later, you can head over for your second meal.
