Have trouble keeping all of those Facebook contacts straight? It can be tricky, especially for bartenders. You’ve got your industry folks, which are different than your regulars and that doesn’t even touch on the slew of random drunks filling in the gaps. Data. Overload.
A new website is trying to make things simple by focusing on folks just in the industry. Pourzz.com focuses on just the beverage professionals – seeking to lure in bartenders who just want to cut through the clutter and talk shop. The site launched in Miami in July and is rolling out to NYC, Chicago and a few other towns. In addition to befriending some industry folks, members who join can also interact with brands and get ideas for drinks.
This is a tricky one – people are social media-crazy these days, but there are so many networks that people can be hesitant to adopt a new one. We’ve seen our share of well-meaning F&B focused options come and go. Will Pourzz succeed? There’s only one way to find out, and it starts with clicking here.
