Traveling Wine Salon The Noble Rot is back with an event to celebrate Cabernet Day, which this year falls on August 30 (who knew?). Winos out there should take note, they’ve enlisted author Cathy Erway to cook up food pairings for the Cabs. The author of The Art of Eating In will prepare a menu of Asian-inspired items, which you’ll taste with five wines throughout the night. You’ll also learn a thing or two, as wine evangelist / event organizer Jonny Cigar will be on hand to tell you about what you’re drinking.
The event is $65 per person and there are only 25 spots available at the table. It starts at 7 PM and the secret location will be disclosed once you get registered. If you want to book a spot, get info here.
