Did you know that bars are the second most likely location to lose your phone? Um, it’s not too hard to imagine why – especially after a weekend like the last one that played host to Cinco de Drunko. According to a new study published by Lookout, a phone-finding app, more than 65% of these lost digital devices go missing between the hours of 9 PM and 2 AM, surely not the soberest of hours.
Well, if you do lose your phone at the bar (or, in a cab which has happened to us before), Lookout has two apps that will help you get the device back. Check it out:
- The first- dubbed Lookout – will help you find your lost phone on a map and will sound a siren to let you know where it is. You can download this one before you lose your phone – it’s free! Get it here.
- The second is for those of you who aren’t responsible enough to take the five seconds to download the app (and if that’s the case you probably deal with lost phones a lot). This one will help you track down your device AFTER you lose it. Sweet. Sadly, it cannot get rid of your hangover – for that you’re on your own. Get that one here.
With a phone lost every 3.5 seconds – it happens to the best of us, not just the drunkest. So get on these apps!
