We’ve always been a fan of Whiskey Blue, a swanky joint to enjoy a Martini or two in the W Hotel on Lexington Avenue. Well, now you’ll be able to enjoy more than just a beverage. The lounge has announced that it will serve food for the first time ever, starting today! Chef Peter Andino has concocted a slate of small plates that will be a fit with the tipsy crowds who want a nibble as they enjoy a nip of booze. Of course there are sliders in the house – the new offerings include kobe, bahn mi and crab cake mini burgers.
There are also buffalo chicken spring rolls and a couple flatbread pizzas to choose from (those are our personal favorites, as they’re light enough to leave room for the martini). The dishes are around $15 to 20 a pop, and if you want to drop by and stuff your face Whiskey Blue is located at 541 Lexington Ave.
I've had the food. It sucks. The place is an expensive hooker hole.
