And we’re not talking one made of candy. Meaty palace The Cannibal and adjoining Belgian restaurant Resto are hosting a fun duo of Valentine’s Day parties dubbed Black Hearts and Red Hearts. If you’re all cynical on V-Day, then why not devour some chopped up animal tickers. Cannibal will be showing anti-Valentine flicks on their TVs (think Basic Instinct and My Bloody Valentine), which you can watch while enjoying specials like beef heart tartare or a bitter chocolate tart. Sounds pretty tasty to us.
Over on the other side, Resto will play host to the “Red Hearts” shindig, which is a more conventional night on the town. Dishes for two will include a gigantic pork chop and whole fish. Yeah, that’s all well and good, but the Black Hearts party is going to be where it’s at.
