We've all be there - waking up after a night of drinking, thinking you're in the clear only to look at your Facebook wall to see some ridiculous message that you posted that already has 32 comments, many of them along the line of "are you OK?" Well, one company has created a tongue-in-cheek App that will let you avoid such shenanigans, especially at holiday parties (if any time of year is about embarrassing yourself on social media, it's the holiday season). Internet security company Webroot has teamed with design agency TDA Boulder to create a app dubbed the Holiday Party Sobriety Test. When you activate it, it takes you through a number of coordination and cognition tests, and if you get a low score, it will bring up listings for a nearby cab company - because you best be headed home instead of sending another Tweet.
It's available for free on Android and iPhone devices, you can download it at www.webroot.com/sobrietytest. Because nothing good happens online after 1 AM.
