Restaurant lovers were abuzz with Sam Sifton’s three star review of Colicchio and Sons in last week’s Dining Section. Did the spot, which some say has a thrown together vibe, really deserve three fat ones?

Long story short: there’s good stuff going on with this spot’s taps, but the ambiance was a little off-putting. We didn’t try the full menu, so we can’t speak for all the grub that was so impressive. From our vantage, it deserved a two spot at most.
Just like the Times, we’re sure that our piece will rock the entire food world. Prepare yourself.
