Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s time for wine. Yes, we know, it’s always time for wine. Now it’s time to sample a bunch of excellent vinos at the Javits Center, cause the New York Wine Expo is headed to town.
This is the Expo’s third year, and they promise a strong showing from French wineries and vineyards. There will also be plenty of the usual suspects in attendance. You’ll be able to scope out some European and American varietals that are not to be missed. You’ll have to miss a few though. There are over 600 wines to sample from over 170 wine makers, so choose wisely.
The Expo is open to the public on February 26th and 27th – and should make a great night or afternoon out. Check out the details:
· Friday, February 26, 6:00 – 10:00 PM; One-day ticket - $85
· Saturday, February 27, 2:00 – 6:00 PM; One-day ticket - $95
If you get your butt in gear and order your ticket before February 19th, you’ll get $10 off the ticket price. You’ll be able to use this money on a cab ride home, which you’ll surely need after sampling wine number 597.
You can get more information about the Expo at their website: www.NewYorkWineExpo.com.
