-Eater has rumors that Ken Friedman is considering a bar modeled after Tin Pan Alley, an old time jazz haunt, for the Ace Hotel. Ugh – we’re going to have to compose another paragraph in our love letter to Friedman. Isn’t it long enough already!
-Bartenders around the city are rationing their Angostura Bitters after word that the production plant had some issues and there will be a shortage. Cocktails throughout the city are sure to suffer if the bitters people can’t get their act together. We can’t wait to see the black market that is sure to develop.
-There’s a new blogger on the block. Check out The Downtown Diaries for some top level intel on parties and nightlife. Wait a minute, we thought we were the town’s top debaucher.
