Who art thou, Wily Jack?
He’s the namesake of Wily Jack wines, and his mysterious figure graces each of the vineyard’s labels. The wine company has put forth a wily challenge: write a 100-word original essay describing a brief moment in time capturing the essence of this cunning adventurer's life. The winning essay will be on the back label of a newly released vintage.
The winning entry will receive a grand prize of $5,000. That sounds like plenty to take your own cunning adventures. The contest runs from November 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009. Check out the Wily Jack website for details on how to enter.

With just a tad more polishing we think it’s a winner!
