It looks like our favorite theatrical derelicts are at it again. FUCT is back with some new drunken theater. This time, they’ve joined forces with the Brooklyn Group Ladycircus. The FUCT boys will bring the booze, the ladies will bring the contortion, stilts, fire, and much more of that “talent” stuff. If you can only see one Cirque du Soleil spoof featuring naked twenty-somethings, death-defying stunts, and free beer for the audience, the upcoming Cirque du Quoi!?!? is the one.
Don’t think that tipsy clowns and titillating Brooklyn ladies sound fun? Well, you clearly need to drink more. The comedians have lined up Colt .45 as a sponsor of the show, and will be giving away hooch throughout the show. After a few brews and a dose of circus-like (use Big Top instead?) inspiration, you’ll want to march right over to Randall’s Island and go all Kooza on the sober acrobats’ asses.
The gig runs May 28 – 30th and June 4th-6th at The Skybox at the House of Yes, 342 Maujer Street, Brooklyn, NY (between Morgan Avenue & Waterbury Street, just east of the Grand Street stop on the L train). It costs $20 for adults, $10 for students.
