The series might be kaput, but The Sopranos live on as a brand of wine available to NYC drinkers. The wine is imported by the Vesuvio Import Company, named after the fictional restaurant that played a prominent role in the series. Have a few bottles handy the next time you break out the Sopranos DVDs. The vino is great for a marathon viewing, as it allows you to get whacked right along with your favorite characters. For them, it means sleep with the fishes. For you, it means head for bed after one too many glasses of Pinot Grigio.
The Sopranos Cabernet / Merlot / Sangiovese – is a vigorous wine, full-bodied and elegant, with an intense, ruby color, it presents a strong range of scents, including berries and ripe yellow pepper. Ideal as a red meat wine, the new blend drinks well with roasted chicken or a grilled porterhouse steak. We’re sure Tony would have enjoyed a glass of this at dinner with Carmela, especially after the aforementioned whacking.
Like the mobsters on the show, the Pinot Grigio Friuli Doc Grave isn’t afraid to assert itself. Strong fragrances, crispy acidity and a stalwart fruit core command attention with every sip. This popular Pinot is suitable for a wide range of options from dinner for two to a large family get-together. We’re sure it would have been Adrienne’s favorite. Sigh. We still can’t get over it. Poor thing.
The bottles are available for $14.99 - $16.99 at your local wine store.
Many wines produced by 3rd parties just to have a commercial label tie-in aren't particularly good. Moreover, the producers have little incentive for quality, because they aren't usually identified on the label.
The review above is "cute", and reads like it was authored by the Sopranos' marketing department -- I look forward to a real review of the taste and quality. (Hey, don't whack me for being frank...)

If marketing has taught us anything it's that you can re-use brand popularity to totally un-related products. This idea is bizarre to me, but it is of course getting a lot of coverage.
Waiting for the cheaper, my name is Earl wines...

The wines are excellent and a real value for the money under $15.. One thing is for sure the Pinot Grigio Friuli is definately in my fridge and the Santa Margharita is kaput
