-A new pill is out that may allow alcoholics to drink their way to sobriety. You take the meds before drinking, and in a few months they trick your brain to stop craving alcohol. Sounds great, but we don’t like to play tricks on our brain. Besides, it will just sneak whiskey when we’re sleeping.
-A co-founder of the Brooklyn Brewery is set to open NYC’s only distillery. It will be the city’s first liquor factory since prohibition, and guests will be able to stop by and learn about spirits and the distillation process. We hope they take it a little bit farther than the recently opened City Winery. We love the concept of making drink on site, but were really disappointed when they wouldn’t let us go swimming in the vats.
