We recently took a look at Atria’s cocktail program and came away saying wow. When we got word that they would play host to a series of tasting events on Mondays, we could only saw double wow. What’s that? The tasting events in March are Scotch and Doughnuts? Wow wow wow.
While our focus was the classically inspired drinks on the list, we did get to try the restaurant’s doughnuts. They don’t get three wows just for being pretty. They aren’t doughnuts in the classic “powdered balls of fat” model. They are delicious morsels that contain surprising flavors. Some are even sprinkled in bacon powder. When paired with scotch, we can only expect the best.
The Monday pairing costs a mere $15, leaving plenty of room to enjoy one or two other cocktails from their excellent list. Maybe if you’re crafty, you can steal some of their delicious cocktail onions when the bartender’s not looking.
