We’re a sucker for a good hotel bar. Our favorite in the city? The bar and lounge areas of The Soho Grand. It may not be the trendiest spot with all of the new hotel haunts that have opened over the years, but it is definitely the most comfortable. We’ve spent many nights perched at the corner of their bar, watching the pretty people flaunt it (and spending a pretty good chunk of our life savings).
Tonight we’re off to The Grand. That martini may cost a premium, but it is worth it. We appreciate that the hotel gives their drinking patrons two options: a dimly-lit, sultry lounge and a more boisterous, casual bar area. We can’t decide what will best suit our mood this evening, so we’ll probably engage in one of our most beloved activities: bar hopping in a single hotel. We’re decked out in our best duds and ready to charm some fashionable tourists. Now, where did we put the rest of our life savings. . .
The Soho Grand is located at 310 West Broadway. Stop in and buy us a martini (or three!).

We're fans of the Soho Grand too. Been years since we hit the bar though.
Went to Bemelman's recently. Ugh. $18.75 for a Manhattan. Bartender prickly as a porcupine too.
