-Good news piggies! Even though the original meatpacking district bar The Hog Pit will shutter as scheduled, the owners have found a new location and are going to reopen on West 26th street. The fried pickles survive – and we are happier than a pig in a dive bar on West 26th street.
-Utah moved to ban the sale of flavored Malt Beverages from grocery stores, due to the fear that Mormon children may get their hands on Smirnoff Ice and drunkenly try to eat the peep stone (don't judge - we've all been there).

We are looking forward to seeing the frowny-faces of the neighbors who tried to shut it down. When is the community board going to schedule a meeting on their boring-ness?
-Heather Locklear got busted by California police for a DUI. They later determined that she wasn’t drunk, but under the influence of an “unknown” narcotic. Sources tell Barfly that she was hopped up after drinking 2 bottles of L’Oreal Preference Blonde #7.
